USF Health in Florida and Lakeland Health in Michigan are both using virtual desktops as the delivery vehicle for Epic EMR and other clinical applications to their 3,000 physicians, nurses, and staff.
While one uses VMware Horizon and vSphere and the other Citrix XenDesktop and Microsoft Hyper-V for desktop virtualization, both have standardized on the same solution for application management: Unidesk.
